ferrari has had a passion for skating since his earliest memories and founded lingerie in 2022. the name references the trademark ferrarilover / skinny andro boy style and use of metaphor & hidden meanings, and uses subtle linguistic trickery to draw attention to the fact that in skating one must bare their soul often in order to progress. every limited edition deck is designed both by hand and using digital technologies. real style in street skating is a rare thing. many pro skaters today are technically proficient athletes who can achieve impressive tricks, but usually the impact of those tricks, done in the name of branding and bragging rights, lose style. lingerie is about finesse, it is about giving everything yet nothing in the name of style (the true path of a real artist). lingerie is a brand that transcends the idea of a brand; we do not need to sell anything, and therefore remain as core skate as ever in an era where skateboarding needs an infusion of high art more than ever. skating is the most self expressive artistic sport, and lingerie is the antithesis of mega corporate co-opting of that which they do not and will never understand. cheers.
